My Travels This Summer

I am presently in Germany, for a visit at home in Fellbach with friends and family, and to visit two public events close to my heart. The German Church's Biannual 'Church Day' in Cologne (June 6-10), and on my way there, I will spend a day at the alternative G-8 Summit in Rostock, near Heiligendamm, where the G-8 meet from June 6-8. Check out their websites and pray that for the beauty of the earth these leaders will be moved to advance and enact a common agenda to slow and lessen the impact of the global climate change that is already occurring, and at a faster rate than we hoped. Pray for Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor, for strength at the negotiation table, and all other leaders that they find a common ground from which to act NOW!
